Hey Mr. DJ is owned and operated by Tyler Smith. Tyler has over 18 years of music and DJ experience, starting as a club DJ in Washington during his Navy days, then as a radio DJ in Kalispell and Missoula Montana. He has provided music for thousands of Weddings, business owners and high schools across Montana, Idaho, and Washington.

Hey Mr. DJ is the house DJ company for The Elbow Room, Stockman's Bar, The Broadway and University of Montana. His experience will ensure that your event goes smooth and that you and your guests worry about nothing except having fun!

DJ Bio for Melanie Smith!

Melanie is the co-owner and CFO of Hey Mr DJ, she had no choice. She's Tylers' right hand woman, and helps maintain the balance of all the staff here at Hey Mr DJ. Melanie has filled every spot here as a DJ for many of her own weddings and events, plus, she provides support and knowledge to all of our DJs. She can hold her own at any of our club events but would rather have the young guns handle the late night events. Melanie runs her own Wedding Coordinating Company called "An Affair to Remember", in addition to being a mom to Jaxon and Dylan and a wife and best friend for Tyler.

DJ bio for Aldo Ruiz!

Aldo is the top club DJ in Missoula and has been with Hey Mr DJ for 7 years. He has quickly mastered the skills to become an outstanding DJ. Originally from the Bay area of California, at first Aldo felt a little out of place in Missoula but has quickly become one of the most recognized people in town. Each week Aldo performs at the top clubs here in Missoula – Tuesdays he is the host and DJ for The Broadway's Comedy and Club Dance night, Wednesday nights Aldo moves downtown to take charge of Hammerjack's Ladies' Night, Thursdays its over to the doublewide trailer known as the Elbow Room for Thursday Night Party night, Fridays he heads back to Hammerjack's for his T.G.I.F party and Saturdays Aldo can be found just about anywhere from a wedding somewhere in Western Montana, or Spokane to Reds Bar downtown Missoula playing the hits or covering a weekend party at one of our many corporate clients or Wazzu and Pullman Washington for college dance parties. Aldo gets requested to do many weddings and speaks fluent Spanish. He can provide MC duties for Bi-Lingual weddings.

DJ bio for Annie Johnson!

Annie is our current All-Star DJ! She is starting her third season with us and has really helped raise the standard for all the other DJs here at Hey Mr DJ. Annie specializes in weddings and is booked most every weekend during the summer. Her attention to detail and ability to take charge of all the "specifics" at a reception has her clients raving about her. Annie also gives the guy DJs a run for the spotlight at the club events, filling in at all our club events. Annie attended college in Utah and is a Missoula Hellgate graduate, when she's not spinning hitz for us she runs her own accounting service here in Missoula and likes to spend time with her guy... Aldo!

Bio For Dylan Smith!

Dylan Jaymes Smith (DJ) was born into the business and loves music and dancing. Dylan has been his daddies tag a long for over 10 years at many weddings and dj dance parties. DJ is looking foreword to taking over the company in a few years but first he needs to get through 5th grade. He loves all sports and excels at football and basketball. Look for Dylan in the coming years with our other great DJ’s learning the ropes and taking charge.

Bio For Rony Ward!

Rony is our Rookie DJ, and has quickly mastered our game plan. Rony tag teams with all of our Missoula and Spokane Disc Jockeys to gain experience and to learn by doing. Aldo has taken Rony on as his apprentice and tells us that Rony is a diamond in the rough and will quickly become one of our top DJ's. You can find Rony at the Broadway Sports and dance club every Friday for "Flashback Fridays" and on the road Saturday nights for high school dances and weddings.

DJ Jaxon "MC Baby Boy"!

Jaxon is our newest addition to Hey Mr DJ and keeps mom and dad very busy. He is the cutest baby ever. Jaxon has already shown a great interest in music and the Sky is the limit for this little guy.
